They don't know that with this specific device, you can't use your mic on PC with bluetooth.

The biggest issue is most content covers every other Bose headset except the gaming version of the Quiet Comfort 35 II. I had the exact same issue, trying everything that YouTube and various forums online had recommended. I would appreciate it if I could get some assistance with what might be causing the issue. I've checked the microphone setthings and whether or not the microphone was muted and no issues seem to be showing. I've tried it with the desktop controller and with it plugged into my computer directly, both times outputting audio but not accepting any audio input. I can't seem to be able to use the Bose QC35 II gaming microphone with Windows 10. I am a user just like you here to help others. ** Please note I am an independent advisor which means I have no say in the development of windows or any Microsoft process. Right-click on the "Headset, hands free". You will see two Bose icons, "Headset - hands free" and Headphones - stereo". On the bottom right hand side of your screen, you will see the icon for the speaker. Click on the icon with the headphone! The headphone icon may not appear immediately, but wait for it. Turn on your Bose Headset and move the power switch ALL THE WAY to the right and hold it there for a several seconds. Then swipe again from the right and tap on "All Settings"."Devices"."Bluetooth".

When your computer re-starts, make sure that your computer Bluetooth is enabled. It will un-pair and uninstall your headphones. Tap on the Bose Icon and "Remove Device". To do this, swipe from the right hand side of your screen and tap on "All Settings". If you had already connected and paired your Bose QuietComfort 35 to your computer, please uninstall it then restart your computer. It seems like Bose would have had to do something to make it NOT work.I am Jaspreet Singh an independent advisor. The pin is the same on the phone and laptop. Just to make sure I covered all my bases my dock has the audio in and out separated so I docked it and tried to use the supplied splitter no joy. Why would they include a splitter if they don't support devices that the splitter would be used on? The interesting thing a splitter was included with the QC 15. I've been to the Bose site and it doesn't seem like they support PCs. I use ear buds that work on my Galaxy on my laptop, skull candy and Bose but the QuietComfort do not work. My laptop has a singe jack, I don't need a splitter and I can't get my Dell to recognize there is a microphone. I just got the Quiet comfort 15s from Costco to use on VOIP calls at my noisy office. I've read the following and have the hardware.

I've try different jacks and different lines in. I have Realtek audio, an EVGA x99 micro2 motherboard for soundcard.Īny ideas on what I can do? I've looked everywhere in both realteck and default sound settings for hidden devices.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get both the sound and the mic to work on Win 10. I bought a converter to split my single 3.5mm jack into two, one for mic one for headphones. I have Bose QC25's with a single jack with the 3 rings.
